YOUR PERSONAL 9 GENEMETRIC ENERGIES
Your personality traits and tendencies are represented, and affected by the unique characteristics of the 4 Elements, 3 Qualities and 2 Polarities, created in your natal Genemetrics. The strength of your 9 energies is affected by your overall natal polarity.
FIRE symbolises Enthusiasm, Motivation, and Creativity.
EARTH symbolises practicality, stability, possessions.
AIR symbolises curiosity, logic, and communication.
WATER symbolises intuition, sensitivity, emotions.
You are standing on the EARTH and from it you take part of your livelihood. The information around you appeals to your intellect, sound, and verve, involving the AIR element. Your actions are governed by the domain of FIRE, with its will, initiative, and energy, and your emotions are triggered by your experiences invoking the element of WATER, the most fluid.
You experience all the Elements from your very conception:
Immersed in amniotic fluid WATER. In the formation of your material body EARTH.
By turning on the key to your heartbeats and electrical impulses FIRE.
Making your lungs count with the first oxygen, interaction, and noise AIR.
Recognising the influence that the 4 elements have, helps you to understand
and improve your personal characteristics, and to achieve balance in your life.

The word “Cardinal” comes from the Latin “cardinalis”, which means “principle” or “pivotal”, The role of Cardinal signs is to always be pushing forward and to initiate. Cardinals are the natural born leaders, and tend to lean into life, always pushing for new experiences. They value originality, and want to be the first in everything they do. Cardinal signs have a strong will for setting things in motion. The Cardinal quality is affected by the Element and sign it is in. For example, some excel in competition, some love connecting, some tend to be more old fashioned in their ways, and some are the peacemakers, concerned with matters of social justice.
The Latin root "fixus" means to "to latch on to" or "fasten". A Fixed sign falls in the middle of the Cardinals and Mutables. and they continue what the Cardinals have started, as the Fixed personality is usually steady and stable. They fix things in place and are able to engage in sustained activity over long periods. Since fixed signs continue what is already underway, they represent going deeper, and pursuing the full realisation of what has already begun. An ideal trait for people in business. They can initiate, but their true gifts emerge when they are able to sink deeply into an ongoing project at work or at home.
The fixed signs have a remarkable ability to persevere and are often models of solo productivity. They enjoy those peak moments of achievement but seem most at home with themselves when immersed in a sustainable, worthwhile and challenging pursuit. Fixed qualities manifest differently based on the influence of their associated elements. For example, some value structure, and also enjoys the finer things, some need to be the centre of attention, which can make them appear headstrong, some ambitions are sometimes derailed by the strength of their emotions, whilst some tend to be the leaders, despite their free-spirited nature.
The Latin root “mutabilis” means adaptable and variable. Mutables, or adaptables, have learned from hard lessons. They know that all good things end, and their role is to prepare everyone for change. They Mutables are the adapters, a little older and smarter. They are more flexible and comfortable with all manner of changes than the Cardinal and Fixed. They are the editors and fine tuners. A plan can be triggered by a Cardinal, constructed by a Fixed, then perfected and finished with the discerning eye of a Mutable. They are the emotional diplomats, and others value their easy-going attitude. Instead of creating change, like Cardinals, or resisting change like the Fixed, Mutables can accept and adapt to any change, providing they can see the benefits.
Instead of experiencing stress, Mutables go with the flow, as adaptation is one of their biggest skills, and will mutate to accommodate their surroundings. They are known to be good in times of crisis, philosophical, open-minded, but also can be indecisive. Mutables can manifest differently based on the influence of their associated elements. For example, some are social and communicative, some are the planners, who help others create their own sense of organisation, some are leaders and motivators, and some are emotional healers, who uses their empathetic qualities to calm a situation.
This example shows 53 % YANG ACTIVE POSITIVE + 47 % YIN PASSIVE NEGATIVE -
The two Polarities divide the Zodiac into 2 distinct groups of 6 signs each.
A greater emphasis on the Yang polarity
suggests a greater outward direction, looking outward, masculine, active.
A greater emphasis on the Yin polarity
on the other hand, suggests an inward direction, looking inward, feminine, passive.
The concept of polarity is broadly expressed in universal dichotomies such as
action and reaction, light and dark, cold and heat, inspiration, and expiration,
in centrifugal and centripetal forces, etc. Everything always constitutes two halves to be completed, like spirit and matter, subjective and objective, interior and exterior, movement and rest. The extremes complement each other, so that there is a balance between all things.
