ARE YOU CARDINAL?
The word “Cardinal” comes from the Latin “cardinalis”, which means “principle” or “pivotal”, The role of Cardinal signs is to always be pushing forward and to initiate. Cardinals are the natural born leaders, and tend to lean into life, always pushing for new experiences. They value originality, and want to be the first in everything they do. Cardinal signs have a strong will for setting things in motion. The Cardinal quality is affected by the Element and sign it is in. For example, some excel in competition, some love connecting, some tend to be more old fashioned in their ways, and some are the peacemakers, concerned with matters of social justice.
ARE YOU FIXED?
The Latin root "fixus" means to "to latch on to" or "fasten". A Fixed sign falls in the middle of the Cardinals and Mutables. and they continue what the Cardinals have started, as the Fixed personality is usually steady and stable. They fix things in place and are able to engage in sustained activity over long periods.
