Have you ever wondered about people's willingness to emotionally manipulate others, maliciously, and disingenuously, in your workplace, and the role of gender, Emotional Intelligence, and the Dark Triad traits in this destructive behaviour?
81 females, and 184 males were sampled, from varying occupations, each completed measurements of their emotional manipulation willingness in their workplace, their Emotional Intelligence, and their Dark Triad states. It revealed that females were significantly less likely than males to engage in both malicious and disingenuous emotional manipulation.
Higher levels of Emotional Intelligence were associated with disingenuous emotional manipulation in females only. Emotional Intelligence was also a significant contributor to disingenuous emotional manipulation in multiple regression analysis, indicating the existence of a “dark side to Emotional Intelligence” at work.
In females, the magnitude of correlations between the three Dark Triad traits of emotional manipulation were similar.
However, in males, both malicious and disingenuous emotional manipulation most strongly correlated with Machiavellianism, followed by Narcissism, and then Psychopathy.
It demonstrates that good Emotional Intelligence skills can facilitate undesirable workplace behaviours. Emotional manipulation is elevated in males with a relentless drive to achieve goals, and in females with broader deceptive tendencies ...
If you wake up one morning, possessing an instinctive impulse, and serious intention to do good works, or to pursue an ideal, or to simply create a new way to do something that does not lead to your instant material gains, or advantages, you must have the strength to discount the sympathy, support, or approval of many of your contemporaries.
You might at first consider the superficial aspect of what you pursue. Most people suffer from the mostly, self-imposed curse of self-doubt, which is the 63rd repressed 'State of Challenge', of our Genemetric nature.
But if you remain confident in your works, it can eventually become accepted as a norm in this current world. Anything of real value that you pursue throughout your life, must be pursued for its own sake, otherwise it will prove difficult to attain. Any ulterior intention that you possess can hinder and cloud your insight.
As history has repeatedly proved, everything of real and lasting value has required time to be accepted, especially if it belongs to the class of the instructional, and not merely a work of entertainment for the masses.
We live in a world cursed by want and need, or the law of sufficient reason, more commonly referred to as the law of necessity. Everyone serves, and slaves, for their material possessions, a healthy bank account balance, and their personal aims.
The large majority of people, by nature, are quite incapable of anything but these material and ...

When we talk about your personality, we are referring to your relatively stable and characteristic patterns of your emotions, behaviour, and your level of knowing and understanding.
These patterns are commonly described in terms of specific personality traits. There is a well established relationship between personality traits and mental wealth in general, and personality and life satisfaction in particular.
More specifically, two, of the big seven Hexacon traits of Neuroticism, and Extraversion, consistently explain the substantial variations in a person’s mental wealth. The personality trait of Neuroticism includes the facets of Anxiety, Hostility, Depression, Self-consciousness, Impulsiveness, and Vulnerability to stress.
Correspondingly, the Hexacon domains of Extraversion, includes Warmth, Gregariousness, Assertiveness, Activity, Excitement-seeking and Positive emotions. All further solid evidence for the incontrovertible relations between the general big seven personality domains, and improving your mental wealth.
Factors contributing to your Accomplishments and Goal attainment, are important for your life satisfaction. Life satisfaction judgments consider the gap between your actual subjective states, and your psychological states of well-being.
Personality facets such as your Competence, Self-discipline, Achievement-striving, and Dutifulness are also all considered important, if you are to obtain your ideal states, and are more likely ...
You may believe yourself to be perfectly free, in what you choose to think about, in your individual actions and in the daily decisions that you find yourself making, or having to make, and think that at every moment, you could, if you wanted to, commence any manner of a different life, as you may believe that you understand who you are, and what influences, drives and motivates you.
But, through your daily experience, you may find that you are not free, and despite all your daily resolutions, reflections, and the amount of time that you spend thinking to yourself, whilst in your home, your car, travelling to work, sunbathing on your holiday sunbed, that you are truly yet to understand why you are thinking about what’s in your head.
How do your thoughts randomly work their way into your head without your permission or control. You may yet not realise that we all live under the law of sufficient reason, or let us call that the law of necessity, with no great understanding of your true Will, and find it extremely difficult to change your behaviour, or really understand anyone else’s.
From the beginning of your life, without developing your Self-awareness, you will carry on playing the same character, and the same part, that you have embedded at birth in your Genemetrics, with little realisation of who you really are, and why, to your very end.
Of course, there are people who may well say, what nonsense. I am my own person and solely responsible for how I choose to behave, but when the world finally becomes too much for those ...

This article reports the most comprehensive assessment to date of the relations that the domains, and facets of HEXACON 100 personality, have with self-reported subjective well-being, and life satisfaction.
Subjective Well-Being (SWB) being life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect, and Psychological Well-Being (PWB) being positive relations, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
It correlates the HEXACON personality domains with an analysis of personality, and well-being, to examine a HEXACON personality, and a broad range of well-established measures.
However, the seven HEXCON domains do not provide, nor were they ever intended to provide, a complete description of personality.
For that we need to study a person’s Geometric chart, as Carl Jung did for over 30 years, to help him analyse a person’s personality. Over 800 natal geometrics were studied in one project alone, about the problems between married couples.
It also provides correlations and incremental prediction of domain facets in relation to SWB and PWB, comprising data from prominent, long-form hierarchical personality frameworks, and HEXACON Aspect Scales.
The results highlight the importance Neuroticism, Extraversion, and Conscientiousness. In the HEXACO model, Extraversion was the strongest well-being correlate.
Facet-level analyses provided a richer description of the relationship between personality and well-being and clarifies differences between ...
Sometimes, from certain people, there arises such goodness which shows itself as pure love towards others. They place other people and their fate, completely on a level with themselves and their own fate, but no more, as there, on the face of it, seems no reason for them to prefer any other individuals above themselves.
Yet there are a great number of other people whose whole happiness is in danger, as they sacrifice their own well-being, and sometimes, even their own life, for the well-being of others.
But suffering is essential to life as a whole and inseparable from it. Every wish proceeds from a need, from a want, from a suffering, and that every satisfaction is only the removal of a pain, and brings no positive happiness as they have, most innately, a negative nature.
What goodness, and love, they do for others, is only merely an alleviation from their own suffering, and consequently, all that can influence them from good deeds and works of love, is simply the knowledge of the suffering of others, which is directly understood from their own suffering, and placed on a level with it.
So, it follows that pure love is, in its nature, only sympathy, whether the suffering it mitigates satisfies any wish, large or small. Though there are those that may look on, and say, that felt sympathy is a weakness. All true and pure love is only sympathy, and all love, not sympathy is merely selfishness.
Combinations of sympathy and selfishness often happen, as genuine friendship is always a mixture of the two. it's hard to differentiate between the two, which is why the Italians use the same word for sympathy and true love ...
