The Hexacon 64 provides an analysis of your seven main behavioural domains, along with their associated traits, and a comprehensive and detailed overview, of the substantial links between your personality traits and your well-being. This unique trait-based behavioural analysis, provides a richer description of the relationship between your personality, your subjective well-being, your psychological well-being, and your life satisfaction.
It provides correlations and incremental predictions using your domain traits, in relation to improving your Subjective Well-being, and your Psychological Well-being. It provides a robust organising framework for your personality psychology as a whole, and this broad range of established measures is now also the main focus for psychologists. The Hexacon 64 expands the knowledge of the relation between your personality and your well-being, by analysing the different levels in your personality trait hierarchy.
The Hexacon 64 matrix shows the sheer complexity of a human personality mind map. This is why personality science has moved away from type based, to trait based personalities. The yellow shows higher levels of positive affect, the blue shows higher levels of negative affect, and black reveals dark triad traits.

Many researchers assess the "good life" in terms of Subjective Well-Being: a composite of life satisfaction, with high levels of positive affect, and low levels of negative affect. A good life is based on the maturity of the seven well established HEXACON psychological domains of Honesty, Emotions, Xtraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness and Neuroticism.
Whereas Subjective Well-Being, largely avoids making assumptions about the causes of your happiness. Other conceptualisations of well-being draw more strongly on “Eudaimonia”, (what the Greek’s termed human flourishing), and humanistic perspectives of well-being.
However, Psychological Well-Being, identifies a broader set of well-being dimensions, comprising your levels of: Positive Relations, Autonomy, Environmental Mastery, Personal Growth, Purpose in life, and Self-acceptance.
